Time Change Boys Basketball Open Gym - 6:00PM at the Legion tonight.
Boys Basketball Open gym will be at the Legion from 5:00pm to 6:00pm tonight and Thursday, and I will be running only one session per day this week. Open gym will be the same time next week on Wednesday and Thursday.
Due to the lockdown on the Reservation, we are looking into secure online options for out community meeting on July 8th. If it is not possible we will hold additional meetings to accommodate the situation.
BCSD will host two Parent Informational meetings on Wednesday, July 8th. The 1:00 meeting will be held in the Legion gym and the 6:30 meeting will be held in the AC. The intent of the meeting is to share information being developed concerning reopening school in August.
We will not have Boys Basketball open gym this week. We will continue it next week on Wednesday and Thursday 5:00-8:00. Please let me know what session you would like.

Thursday 5-8pm, BBB Open Gym will be moved to the AC due to Graduation setup. Please make sure you bring water bottles and come dressed.
We have had a good showing for our first week of open gyms and fields. Remember, these workouts are voluntary, but we are excited to be able to get the kids back into the gym, field, and weight room! If you want to get a time scheduled please contact your coaches to get that set up.

In order to follow the safety guidelines set forth by the SDHSAA, we will be pushing back our scheduled open gyms, fields, and weight room workouts for students. BCSD will continue to provide sack lunches at the MGS Activity Center, Martin and Allen CAP offices on Monday through Thursday until May 21, 2020. Starting the week of May 25th, we will provide 2 sack breakfast and lunches on Monday and Wednesdays until the end of June.

Tomorrow night the BC Stadium will be lit up at 8:20 to celebrate first responders and seniors during this difficult time. We encourage everyone to approach from East School street by a Sod’s. This not parade line up, please come by and honk to show support when you can.

BCSD schools will continue to be closed through May 1st at Gov. Noem's request. We will continue our flex learning. HS and MS Packets can be picked up Monday from 11-1at the HS. MGS packets can be picked up from 11-12 at the AC, and Martin and Allen CAP offices.
BC Student Council would like to show our community support during this crazy time. We are asking community members and businesses to put a stuffed animal in your window dressed in Warrior colors to show that we are a community and can overcome this. Thank you for your support.

BCSD families, there will be no school from March 23rd-March 27th per the request of Gov. Noem. We will continue providing sack lunches and staff are working on preparing learning opportunities for all students which will be available next week. Be on the lookout for information
The BCSD would like to provide sack lunch for students while school is closed. Lunches will be delivered to Lacreek (Martin) & Passcreek (Allen) District CAP offices & at AC entry from 11:00 to 12:00 on Tues., Wed., and Thur.. Students will need to be present to pick up lunches.
The Blood Drive will now be held at the New Legion from 1-5:30 pm on March 18
At the request of Governor Noem, , the Bennett County School District will be closed from March 16-19th for school. ALL BCSD facilities, including the weight room and library, will be closed for deep cleaning starting March 16th and will reopen March 23rd when school resumes.
The Man Pageant has been postponed until May 4th. When it gets closer, we will provide further updates.
The Middle School Music Festival has been cancelled this year. We will continue to update as further changes to our schedule occur. Thank you for your understanding.

MGS is hosting Bring Your Parent to School on Wednesday, February 12th. Preschool through 2nd grade: come for breakfast and visit the classrooms until 11:00. 3rd through 5th grade: come for lunch and visit the classroom until 4:00.
Thursday night will be the Girls BB Parents night. We are planning to start parents night at about 6:00. The C game starts at 4 and we will get 2 quarters of JV game following that.

The middle school showcase will be held on Monday, January 13 from 6-7 pm. The focus will be ELA and history classes. There are a few interactive activities to do but mostly this is an opportunity Families to come in and see what the kids have been doing in these classes throughout the year so far. We will have some brownies and cookies available so we hope to see you there.

The 8-12 concert has officially been rescheduled to Monday Dec. 16 @ 6:30. The little Warriors basketball game is moved to the middle school gym on the 16 th starting at 4:30
The middle school wrestling tournament in Rapid City Is being held at the Civic Center with a start time of 8:30 AM
There will be no middle school wrestling practice today. The bus for the middle school wrestling tournament in Rapid City tomorrow will leave at 5:30 AM from the wrestling room
Reminder: Bennett County will have school tomorrow, December 6th as a snow make up day. School will dismiss at 2:30 and busses will run at that time.

On Dec. 21 Double Header BB vs Lyman there will be a C game for the Boys so we will start that at 12:00. That game will be followed by JV girls, JV boys, Varsity Girls and Varsity Boys.
