Melissa Byrne and Sadia Risse presented at the TIE Conference in Rapid City on April 25. Mrs. Byrne is the Tech/STEAM teacher at Martin Grade School and Mrs. Risse is the STEAM teacher at the Middle School. They presented on how they use a center-based learning approach for students to explore coding programs through the use of robots, iPads, and Chromebooks, and other examples how they incorporate math, science, and engineering into their lessons.
