This is just a friendly reminder that school will dismiss at 1:30 p.m. today for parent teacher conferences. Conferences will begin at 2:00 p.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. Please make an honest effort to attend conferences as our staff is excited to speak with parents and guardians about all the great things your student is accomplishing in school. Basketball this Friday will be parents night for boys and girls. We will do the boys right before boys varsity and girls before girls varsity. We will also be doing parents night for wrestling this Saturday. There will be a short intermission in the middle.

Couple of announcements:
Due to the wrestling tournament being moved to Feb. 10, the MS BB Tournament has been canceled for that day.
Basketball vs Hay Springs Feb. 3 will start with JV Girls with two quarters of play at 1:00pm. Followed by Boys JV, Varsity Girls, Varsity Boys. The volleyball team will be selling indian tacos as a fundraiser, and CHART will be doing BINGO.
Acalympics team went to Pierre today! They did awesome!
BC Students and Families are invited to Bingo for Books tomorrow, Thursday, February 1 from 6:30 to 7:30 at the Elementary AC! We hope to see you there!!

The Bennett County FFA is having a Chili Cook Off on Sunday, February 18th at 4:00 at the Martin Fire Hall. The competition will be judged by the public. Tickets will be for sale to vote for the best chili. For more information and to sign up, please contact FFA President Lily Cotten

This morning's weather blew in quickly as our busses were already out on their respective routes, as this proved to be the case for many districts in our region. Therefore, I wanted to use this opportunity to offer a friendly reminder to everyone, that in these cases when this happens, if at any time as a parent/guardian you feel that the weather is unsafe in your home area for your child/ren to drive themselves or ride a district bus, it is your respected decision to keep your child/ren at home. With our district roughly covering over 1100 square miles, our weather can vary from one district border to the next.
