We will be dismissing at 3:00 p.m. this afternoon so that students, staff, bus drivers, and all will be home prior to dark this evening with the reduced visibility. All evening activities are cancelled. Also, there is "No School" tomorrow as the Snow Make-Up Day will be on Friday, February 23rd. Thanks!

This morning's weather blew in quickly as our busses were already out on their respective routes, as this proved to be the case for many districts in our region. Therefore, I wanted to use this opportunity to offer a friendly reminder to everyone, that in these cases when this happens, if at any time as a parent/guardian you feel that the weather is unsafe in your home area for your child/ren to drive themselves or ride a district bus, it is your respected decision to keep your child/ren at home. With our district roughly covering over 1100 square miles, our weather can vary from one district border to the next. The girls basketball game today against Todd County has been postponed. We will have a DH now on Feb 6. JV starting at 4pm MT.
The boys and girls basketball game this Friday at Lyman has been moved to 5 MT.
Update on activities:
The GBB game tomorrow has been postponed because of Crazy Horse not having school. The game will now we played January 29th @5pm.
A new game has been added for Boys BB. They will play Stanley County here on Feb. 5 @ 5pm.
There will be a Two Hour Late Start Tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

The Wrestling Tournament has been tentatively moved to Feb 10.
Due to the predicted below zero temperatures and dangerously below zero wind chills tonight and tomorrow, there will be "No School" on Monday, January 15, 2024. Stay Warm and Safe!
The boy basketball game for tomorrow has been cancelled. They will use our game vs. Colome for who gets 7/8th place.
Both the wrestling quad and tournament this weekend have been POSTPONED due to the weather.
The Cheyenne Eagle Butte GBB game has been postponed.
Schedule changes for activities:
GBB this Saturday, the 13th has been moved up to 1pm.
GBB on Saturday, January 27th has been moved to 12pm.

We're excited to be back! Just a reminder to stay updated with all the communications this school year with the Bennett County School District app.
Middle school boys basketball will start this Wednesday. Practice will be in the legion after school.
The start times for tomorrow at Lakota Tech are:
Boys JV - 10:00am
Girls JV - 11:00am
There has been a late add to the basketball schedule. This is an only Junior Varsity Tournament at Lakota Tech this Thursday. Both the boys and girls will be attending. Times will be announced ASAP. Coaches will be in contact about who will be attending.
