Agenda for the special board meeting on May 6, 2024.

Track meet tomorrow in Kadoka has been cancelled.

From 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Taylor Risse:
Last week our 17 sweet + thoughtful students came up with a great idea... and of course I support them in all their crazy and fun ideas! 😂
They wanted to create a class business!! They had to work as a team to design a business plan, create their inventory, price their items, and sell. They learned how to count back money, use fractions and measurement in baking, and hard work to open a business! They sold art work, bookmarks, bracelets, garden art, baked goods, and lemonade!
Their hearts decided they should give half of the money earned to help someone in need and half for classroom supplies and activities.
We chose a local charity- where 50% will go to CHART! CHART is an organization that supports our community members battling cancer.
With the help of our supportive families, friends, and community members- our children were able to gave CHART $480.00!!
We are so thankful for everyone who rallied around the children to support them in making this idea come to life! ♥️
Now they know- if they put their minds to anything, big things can be accomplished!
