Two middle school teams attended the SD Wind and Solar Competition and placed 1st and 2nd in the Middle School division, qualifying them for the Nationals/Worlds in Phoenix, AZ.

Mrs. Lyon's 4th grade class had a great time with Kids in the Kitchen in March. Students learned how to properly and safely cut vegetables for a vegetable tray and make a simple but tasty recipe for Peanut Butter Protein Balls. It was hard to save some to take home! Of special interest to the students was information about beekeeping and the production of honey that was shared with them by Mrs. Kris Kratovil. A big thank you to the volunteers who help support this great program for our students!
These 8th grade students enjoyed the day at SDSM&T. They went to the Cultural expo, Museum of Geology and had lunch on campus.
Bennett County Development Screening for 3 to 5 year olds will be at the Bennett County Elementary on April 2, 2025 from 8:00am to 3:00pm. Call Stacy Allen at 605-685-1151 to schedule an appointment.
Bennett County School District will have school this Friday, March 28, 2025. Classes will be held, and school will dismiss at 2:30.

Picture day at the Bennett County Elementary is March 20 in the little gym starting at 8:00 am.
Due to the school board meeting this evening, the track parent meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, March 18 at 6:00 in the Commons

Congratulations to our BCHS student winners for Post 240 American Legion Auxiliary essay and poster competitions! Olivia- 1st Place, Class V Poster, Shayonna - 1st Place Class IV Poster, and Jonathan- 1st Place Class V Essay. We are Warrior Proud!
