Monday: Due to weather conditions, we have a backup plan for a fun day. We will have a carnival-style event in both gyms.
PreK, TK and Kindergarten will be in the little gym 9:00-10:00 and the 1st and 2nd will be in the AC from 9:00-10:00, then they will switch. PreK, TK and Kindergarten will be in the AC and 1st and 2nd will be in the little gym from 10:00-11:00.
If it rains in the afternoon, the 3rd-5th grades will do what the primary grades did. 12:30-1:30 2/3 and 3rd grade little gym, 4th and 5th in AC, then switch 2/3 and 3rd to the AC with 4th and 5th little gym from 1:30-2:20
The carnival will have tickets for students who win games or participate. The students can then use the tickets to purchase things at the Pride Buck store.
Parents must pay $5.00 at the office if they decide to eat with their child. They will get a receipt to take to the lunchroom and give to the checkout lady.

Our 2nd-grade students traveled back in time…and experienced life in the 1800s during an unforgettable field trip to 1880 Town!
Through an exciting scavenger hunt, they explored historic homes, old-timey establishments, and vintage transportation– from antique showers to typewriters, getting a real feel for life back then. One highlight? sitting in a real old-fashioned classroom and imagining what school was like more than a century ago. A live-action shootout reenactment of a bank robbery brought the Wild West to life, making the students feel like they were truly part of the town.
The kids later created their own lively pretend play– complete with good guys, bad guys, and even a brave Sheriff Colt who made sure the town stayed safe.
Inspired by the adventure, the kids let their imaginations run wild and, as one of the students put it, had the “time of their lives”
A heartfelt thank you to our amazing parent chaperones for helping make this day safe, fun, and unforgettable- we couldn’t have done it without you!

On May 7, the 2/3 Mac Classroom visited Chadron State Park. During their trip, students even caught a fish.
